A rich repertoire will be presented when the festival is held in Sweden! Composers around the world have been asked to send music on the theme Listen to the World! to this year’s festival. More than 400 entries have arrived and the jury has finished its sizable task. 110 pieces from ca. fifty countries have now been selected to be performed during the festival. Other pieces that are selected by artistic directors and participating ensembles will be added onto the programme.

The programme includes large orchestral pieces and chamber music, electroacoustic music and sound art. The ambition is to show how diverse new art music is and to give the audience the possibility to hear music from all parts of the world: Listen to the World!
