NORDIC THEME - ISCM IN GOTEBORG

In Gothenburg, the festival will also bring you Nordic music. With a Nordic theme running through the final ISCM-days in Sweden, we will present music from all the Nordic countries, performed by Norwegian, Danish and Swedish musicians and ensembles.

ISCM IN GOTEBORG

There is a large potential audience for new music and auditory art. When the ISCM festival reaches Göteborg on October 1st, our intention is to show the entire genre in all its wealth. We want to create meeting places with other genres and forms of art and learning but we also want to break up old patterns shaping communication and concert forms, in order to reach new listeners. By this approach the festival hopes to contribute to artistic development and (to maintain) a strong and vivid dialogue with our audiences.

THE FESTIVAL IN VÄSTRA GÖTALAND

While the international festival opens in Visby on the east coast island of Gotland, on 24th September, audiences on the west coast will also enjoy contemporary music and auditory art performances during an eventful week, 24th to 30th September.
